Arena
The outdoor area for the ants is called the arena. The nest section is the part that is underground in nature, and the arena is the area above ground for the ants. This way, we simulate the ants' natural habitat and the separation of nest and living area. The ants maintain the nest section themselves, and in the arena, you get to do the weekly maintenance and care!
Choose your arena outdoor enclosure here. This helps the ants functionally separate their tasks. They use the arena for disposing of waste and nesting material and for collecting building material, food, and moisture. These products are suitable for connecting to ant farms made of sand, plaster, acrylic, or even 3D material.
Town Square (Arena 15x10x9)
This Square arena is made of plexiglass and measures 15x10x9cm. The Town Square is suitable for use as an outworld with, for example, a plaster, sand or acrylic ant farm nest. The Town Square is enclosed with a neat lid with ventilation in the logo. This lid can be removed for weekly maintenance in the arena (offering food, removing waste). The ventilation in the lid is sufficient to create a healthy, natural living environment for the ants. The Town Square (arena 15x10x9) has connection options on both sides. The flexible 10mm hose fits well here so that all nest parts and other parts in your setup can be connected. It is therefore hermetically sealed, so that the ants cannot escape. Half a meter of hose can optionally be ordered immediately.

Barn mini arena
Handy
This feeding dish is simple, but perfectly suited for its purpose. You can use it to offer food to your ants, and it can be connected on both sides.
The dish has the following dimensions:
- 5 cm diameter
- 2.5 cm height (including lid)
- 10 mm connectors
We supply this feeding dish including a small piece of connecting tube and 1 end cap! The connecting tube is intended for connection to an arena or Ant Farm nest. If you want to connect a test tube, you will also need a black test tube connector. You can find these under 'connection materials'. You will receive the connector for free if you also order an ant colony in the same order.
Possibilities
You can easily provide the dish with a layer of sand and/or a few small stones. Then, offer honeydew, sugar, fruit flies, or other food in it. This way, you can create a nice feeding spot.
The dish is hermetically sealed, so there is no escape risk!
If you are not using an opening, you can leave it sealed with the end cap.
