Shipping Costs

We pack your order with the utmost care, often using recycled materials. Our shipping costs also include the packaging materials needed to pack the products and tubes or containers (with live animals) as well and safely as possible. We therefore also guarantee live arrival. All packages are shipped with track & trace!

Our shipping costs are significantly higher than what we ask you, the customer, to pay for shipping. We cover the difference!

We can ship orders placed before 4:30 PM on the same business day (unless otherwise stated in the shipping options).

Please note: we can never guarantee a delivery time with 100% certainty. In more than 97% of cases, the parcel service delivers the package at the right time, but unforeseen delays in shipping can always occur, especially around holidays and vacation periods.

We can ship orders placed before 4:30 PM on the same business day (unless otherwise stated in the shipping options). Delivery of orders can take 1 to 2 business days.

Please note: we can never guarantee a delivery time with 100% certainty. In more than 97% of cases, the parcel service delivers the package at the right time, but unforeseen delays in shipping can always occur, especially around holidays and vacation periods.

If you have questions about specific products or larger quantities, please contact us. If you have complaints, please report them to us immediately. We respond to emails as quickly as possible, within 1 business day - usually within a few hours.


Service & Warranty

We consider our service to be of utmost importance. If something goes wrong with your order, and it's not due to incorrect handling, installation, or care, we will do everything we can to resolve it properly for you!

We guarantee the live arrival of the animals. Should it appear on the day of receipt that this is not the case, please contact us immediately. After this first day, the responsibility for the life of the animals transfers to the recipient.

An exception to this is the queen ant, for which we extend the warranty to 2 weeks after receipt. This only applies with correct installation and use with our products. So not in combination with self-made formicariums.

In case of death, we only provide a warranty upon proof thereof by means of a photograph of the deceased animal(s) and our written confirmation thereof.


Privacy

Ant's Kingdom respects the privacy of all users of its site and ensures that the personal information you provide to us is treated confidentially. We use your data to process orders as quickly and easily as possible. For other purposes, we will only use this data with your permission. Mierenboerderij.nl will not sell personal data to third parties and will only use it for processing your order.

Mierenboerderij.nl uses the collected data to provide its customers with the following services:

  • If you place an order, we need your name, email address, delivery address, and payment details to execute the order and keep you informed of its progress.
  • If you place an order with Ant's Kingdom, we store the data on a Secure Server.
  • Information about the use of our site and the feedback we receive from our visitors helps us to further develop and improve our site.
  • If you decide to write a review via Kiyoh.nl or Webwinkel keur, you can choose whether to add your name or other personal details. We are curious about the opinions of our visitors.

Right of Return

Although we are not legally obliged to (we supply animals/goods that can spoil/age quickly), we still offer the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason. After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the order. You will then be credited the full order amount including shipping costs (provided it is complete, in new condition and - if reasonably possible - in original packaging). Only the costs for returning from your home to Mierenboerderij are for your own account. If you return part of your order, we will, of course, only refund that part.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, please return your order to Ant's Kingdom with all supplied accessories and in its original condition and - if reasonably possible - packaging. The return address is:

You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after the day of receipt without giving any reason. After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return your product. After reporting the return shipment, you will be credited the full order amount including shipping costs within 14 days. Only the costs for returning from your home to the web store are for your own account. These costs are approximately 7.25 per package; consult your carrier's website for exact rates.

To exercise this right, please contact us at info@antskingdom.com. If your order is damaged or the packaging is more damaged than necessary to try the product, we may pass on this reduction in value of the product to you. Therefore, handle products with care and ensure that they are properly packaged when returned.
