Exactly what you would expect from a magnifying glass. The magnification depends on the viewing angle; you can magnify up to 6 times, though the image will then be a bit less sharp (greater viewing distance). You achieve good sharpness when magnifying 2 to 4 times.

Examine the hairs of an ant, the thin legs of a stick insect, the grasping claws of a praying mantis up close.

Nature now becomes even more beautiful. You can, of course, also use the magnifying glass for research in nature and to examine everything in the garden or forest up close.

Feeder cube

This feeder cube is simple, but perfectly suited for its purpose. You can use it to offer food to your ants.

The container has the following dimensions:
- 2.5 cm wide
- 3 cm high (including lid)
- 3.5 cm long

You can fill this feeder with water as a moisture reserve. Optionally, you can also fill it with honeydew or sugar water. Make sure to clean this feeder every week.

Petrol gauze  

Petrol gauze is a very finely woven stainless steel mesh. This mesh stops even the smallest creatures. You can use it to properly shield your own arena or ant farm.

Sand Loam Combination 200 gram  

A combination of sand and loam (clay), specially mixed by us (manually) for use in an Ant Farm or Terrarium. This combination ensures good stability so that excavated tunnels and chambers do not collapse. The color scheme is a mix of red and yellow, the overall texture is finer than the photo shows.

Because the sand is very fine, it is important to first moisten the sand loam after filling or decorating, so that it becomes firm. After it is dry, the ants can be placed or connected.

The price is per 200 grams. The content of the Ant Farm determines how many grams you need. Our advice is to fill a maximum of 2/3 of the Ant Farm with this sand loam combination, so that there is room for the ants to raise and move sand, to arrange their own environment.
- Town house 300 grams (two bags of sand loam so you have enough reserve)
- Urban villa 500 grams (three bags of sand loam so you have enough reserve)

Calculate the volume yourself now:

Length x width x height in centimeters is the volume in cm3
With 1000 grams of sand you fill approximately 600 cm3
Divide the volume in cm3 by 600 cm3 to know how many kg of sand you need.

I-Connector  

This is a high-quality, I-shaped connector. The ribbed design ensures a good grip on the hose. This connector is intended to join two pieces of hose together. Handy when you have many loose pieces of hose or when you have accidentally cut a wrong piece.

Application  

You can easily connect habitats to an Ant Farm with this. Give your ants more possibilities. In nature, they also divide their chambers/habitats underground several times and emerge from the ground in different places.

Specifications  

The I-connector has an inner diameter of just under 10 mm. This means you can tightly connect a hose with an outer diameter of 10 mm. The ultimate combination is with our transparent 8/10 mm hoses.
