The Terra Heat Mats are the perfect solution for a healthy environment for your terrarium, insectarium, ant farm, or vivarium. By attaching the heat mat to or under the substrate, the substrate will be heated gradually and with low energy consumption.
This heat mat is the most well-known and purchased worldwide. It is available in various sizes and wattages. The heat is produced by infrared and has a long wavelength.

Usage

In principle, this heat mat can be used without a thermostat. In cases where a specific temperature needs to be set for certain animal species, or if there is doubt about the (constant) temperature, it is advisable to use a thermostat. These are also available from us.

This heat mat is 100 by 150 mm and has a connection cable with a length of 1.40 mtr. It is suitable for all Ant Farms with sand, plaster, or acrylic. You can neatly heat a part of the nest with it. This gives the ants the choice to keep a part of the nest in a warmer and/or more humid place. The development of an ant colony can proceed much faster with a heat mat. It is not necessary but recommended.

Never use the heat mat under a nest tube of an ant colony, as this can cause condensation and temperature problems.

You can also use these heat mats in a net cage or breeding cage to heat a part (e.g., with eggs that need to hatch). For larger breeding nets (such as the professional breeding cage), use a larger heat mat.

Terra Heat Thermostat

Thermostat

This Terra Heat Thermostat guarantees accurate temperature control in your terrarium. The thermostat works on a plug-and-play principle. Plug the thermostat into a power outlet, connect the plug of your Heatmat or heating cable to the thermostat, and place the sensor under your terrarium or other enclosure.

The thermostat can regulate up to 16A, meaning you can connect a total of 3500W to one thermostat.

Squeeze bottle 70 ml  

Humidity  

This is a handy squeeze bottle with a precise nozzle. Intended for all insects and reptiles that require humidity in their nest. Particularly useful for quickly providing moisture to large areas.

Usage  

The bottle dispenses moisture easily, and you can aim very specifically at a certain spot or corner where you want to provide your pets with more moisture.

Size  

The spray bottle, with a 70 ml capacity, including the nozzle, is about 13 cm high and has a diameter of approximately 3 cm.

Sprayer

This sprayer is nice and compact, and can be operated with just a few fingers. A lock is present. The sprayer atomizes water into a very fine mist, making it ideal for the care of praying mantises, stick insects, and other pets that regularly require moisture.

Usage

Syringe 3ml

Moisture  

This simple moisture syringe is ideal for providing your Ant Farm with dosed moisture. For example, for Acrylic and Sand Farms. You can also easily apply a mixture such as sugar water or honeydew to a specific spot with this syringe.

Usage  

You use the syringe for the Ant Farm or in a terrarium. For example, in a place where you want to hatch eggs of stick insects or leaves.

Size  

The syringe is 8cm long when retracted and 14cm when extended. You can administer 3 ml of liquid at a time. Please note: this is a syringe with a needle, it can also be used without a needle.

Humidity and temperature  

This meter displays the air humidity as a percentage and the temperature in degrees Celsius. Most insects and reptiles require a humidity level between 50 and 80% and a temperature at or slightly above room temperature. The meter has a 1.5-meter cable with a sensor to measure a specific location.
 

Temperature  

This meter displays the ambient temperature in degrees Celsius. For most insects, a temperature between 18 and 25 degrees is ideal.

Use suitable heat mats and/or heat cables and a thermostat to create an ideal environment. Various products are available on our website.
 

Installation  

This digital meter is easy to build in or place upright in your reptiles' or insects' enclosure.
