Ant Farm Sand T-Farm

The T-Farm Ant Farm is made of high-quality transparent plexiglass and is complete with an integrated nest and outworld. The Farm consists of two parts. The top is a sleek outworld, closed with a convenient lid. The bottom is the nest part. You have the option to connect other nests or habitats to both sides of the outworld (eventually), as openings are provided on both sides. Even the nest part can be expanded through the 2 openings in the base.

The T-Farm is suitable for both small and large ant species, including Messor and Lasius. We expect this product to seal seamlessly, making it suitable for all ant species! The outworld on top makes it easy to feed the colony with fruit flies, sugar water, or honeydew. Please note that the colony needs time to get used to the new environment at first, and they will develop further from the test tube. Raising a colony therefore requires some patience.
We supply the T-farm 2.0 including a bag of sand-loam filling, a bag of decorative gravel stones, a pipette for adding moisture, and of course our digital booklet 'Ants are heroes'. The T-Farm is a complete ant farm with a great appearance.

Ideal for climbing insects

During molting, insects hang downwards. Thanks to its tall 34 cm design, the BioDome offers ample vertical space, which helps prevent deformities and increases survival rates. This terrarium actively supports the health and development of your insects.

Smart ventilation system

The BioDome features ventilation openings on two sides and in the lid. This keeps the air fresh and effectively removes moist, stagnant air. For species that require extra warmth, a heat cable can easily be placed under the base.

Craftsmanship & material - please note...

Each BioDome is meticulously handcrafted in the Netherlands from laser-cut acrylic. Due to this artisanal production and bonding process, subtle stress structures, also known as crazing, may be visible in the bonded edges.

These fine line structures are a natural characteristic of high-quality acrylic that is precisely bonded and are an inherent part of the manufacturing process. They do not affect the strength, durability, or functionality of the terrarium.

As with other handcrafted products, this contributes to the unique character of each BioDome.

Sprayer

This sprayer is nice and compact, and can be operated with just a few fingers. A lock is present. The sprayer atomizes water into a very fine mist, making it ideal for the care of praying mantises, stick insects, and other pets that regularly require moisture.
